PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - A two vehicle crash Sunday night in Port Charlotte injured three people, including a 19-year-old who was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Unica Desir of Port Charlotte was driving a Honda Accord east on Veterans Boulevard, lost control and ended up crossing the grass medium and drove head-on into the path of a Jeep driven by 38-year-old Jason Bosley of Port Charlotte.
The head-on crash left Bosley and a passenger in his Jeep, Joddi Edwards, 43, both in serious condition.
Desir will be cited for failure to use due care.
