IMMOKALEE, Fla. - The Collier County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a man wanted in connection with a double shooting on February 2 that left one man dead and another wounded.
Detectives want to find 28-year-old Gens Cadete who faces a charge of 2nd degree murder and attempted 2nd degree murder.
Investigators say Ernst Ganem, 20 and Gotty Charles, 19, were sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot at 601 W. Delaware around 12:30 a.m. when they got into a fight with Cadete. Cadete pulled out a gun and shot both men.
Witnesses at the scene said Cadete was driving a burgundy or pink four-door Ford, possibly a Taurus.
Cadete is described as black, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Cadete’s last known address is 2195 Chadwick Circle in Immokalee. Detectives said he may be staying in the Naples, Tampa or Jacksonville areas.
Detectives said Cadete should be considered armed and dangerous.
