NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Lee County deputies arrested a 24-year-old North Fort Myers woman for firing a shotgun at her neighbor over a fight about a dead baby chicken.
Monday night deputies were called to the 8000 block of Breeze Drive in North Fort Myers where a man said his neighbor Sarah C. Lampila pointed a shotgun at his wife and then fired it.
The wife had gone to Lampila's home to complain about the suspect's dog killing a baby chicken. According to witnesses the wife screamed that she would call Animal Control when Lampila left her home and pointed the shotgun at the woman.
Deputies found two shotguns in Lampila's home and arrested her for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
