Alligator Alley crash claims 2nd victim

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol reports a two vehicle crash that happened Monday on Alligator Alley has claimed a second victim.

Three-year-old Rylee Douglas passed away from her injuries suffered in the crash at mile marker 88 that also killed 33-year-old Cecilia Douglas.

Another child in that car, four-year-old Madison Douglas is listed in critical condition at Physicians Regional Hospital.

The FHP says the crash happened this morning when drove her car into the rear of another vehicle traveling west on I-75.  Her vehicle veered off the road through the fence and into the canal.

The other vehicle managed to make a controlled stop on the north shoulder.  The driver of that vehicle, 41-year-old Dargel Diaz Tamayo of Opa Locka and his two passengers suffered injuries, one was hurt seriously.

Possible charges in the crash are pending.
