Teen arrested for North Port high school bomb hoax

NORTH PORT, Fla. - North Port police made an arrest in a bomb threat posted on Facebook aimed at North Port High School on Monday.
The threat turned out to be a hoax but explosive detection dogs from Lee County were called in to sweep the entire campus.
Detectives arrested 19-year-old Kyle McMahon of Port Charlotte charing him with a false report of a bomb or explosive device and disrupting a school function. The false report is a felony.
McMahan is being held in the Sarasota County jail on no bond.
