Body identified found near downtown Fort Myers in Caloosahatchee River

FORT MYERS, Fla.- The man found floating in the Caloosahatchee River is now identified.
The man has been identified as 63-year old Terry Conrad Dixon.
The autopsy revealed that Dixon’s death was not the result of trauma. A final determination on Dixon’s cause of death is pending further testing by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Thursday police found Dixon's body floating in the Caloosahatchee River.
It was located in the Downtown boat ramp just across from the Harborside Event Center around 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
A man walking down by the boat ramp saw the body and called 911.
