Shots fired call leads to 3 pot arrests in Lehigh Acres

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - Lee County deputies investigating a shots fired call Wednesday afternoon in the 5400 block of Lee Street in Lehigh Acres ended up finding 70 pounds of pot.
Deputies arrived at a facility operating as a car repair shop where the property manager said that a man named Samuel was inside working on a car.
Deputies noticed a man peeking out from the unit and ordered everyone inside the unit out. Deputies could smell marijuana coming from the building and then noticed marijuana in clear packaging throughout the business in plain view.
Three men were arrested on marijuana trafficking charges, 32-year-old Davan Paul Nieves and 39-year-old Samer Jamil Rashid, both of Lehigh Acres and 21-year-old Ranferi Ramirez-Portillo.
