2 arrested for pointing rifle at baby, 3 adults
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Charlotte County detectives arrested two Port Charlotte men on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Ian Douglas McGuire and Wander Frias, both 22, are accused of pointing a rifle out of a their car toward three adults and a baby on a porch in the 3200 block of easy street.
The incident happened Tuesday afternoon when the homeowner says the two men drove by several times in a green Neon yelling obscenities. One witness said Frias was driving and McGuire leaned forward and pointed the rifle at them.
Another witness told detectives this was part of an ongoing feud that started a month ago.
McGuire remains in jail on $7,500 bond; Frias also remains in jail on a $5,000 bond.
