Cape Coral police make arrest in 7-Eleven hold up

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Cape Coral police made a quick arrest in the robbery of 7-Eleven store located at 1021 Santa Barbara Boulevard.
The robbery happened just after midnight. The clerk told police grabbed two cans of beer and gave the appearance that he was going to buy the items.
When the clerk opened the cash drawer the customer reached into his waistband as if he had a gun and told the clerk to give him the money or he would shoot.
The clerk handed the suspect a little over $100 in cash.
Two hours later officers spotted a man matching the description of the suspect walking along Del Pardo.
Police stopped 28-year-old Timothy Holden of North Fort Myers and found the money on him. The clerk then identified Holden as the robber.
Holden is charged with one count of robbery and is in the Lee County Jail held on no bond.
