Should texting and driving be banned?

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Some students in Ft. Myers are getting a first hand look at the dangers of texting and driving. But not everyone thinks it should be banned.
Four In Your Corner's Colleen Hogan has your reactions.
Ft. Myers High School tenth grader Megan Harris is learning how to drive. "I have my permit so I'm practicing a lot," she said.
Monday, The Ft. Myers High 10th grader, got behind the wheel of a virtual driving experience where she could text and drive and see the consequences. "It was a very eye-opening experience," she said.
We asked what you thought about texting and driving. Almost 80 of you responded on our Fox 4 Facebook page, most in favor of banning texting and driving.
Kimu N Jimmy Berrios writing in: "Absolutely!! Everyday I see at least 2-3 people texting while driving. Specially moms or dads with kids in the back."
Randy Worley writing in: "How about a law that just says "Must use common sense while driving."
Carole Sue Vickers Matson writing in: "If common sense doesn't dictate that you NOT text/drive etc then I fear no amount of laws are gonna do it."
Scott Smith: "It's another stupid law that can't be enforced. We already have reckless driving laws on the books."
