NORTH PORT, Fla. - A criminal investigation into a North Port fire that killed two people on April 3, 2012 determined it was an arson.
Investigators say that one of the two victims, 41-year-old Carol Wisdom, deliberately set the fire that killed her son at a home on Duar Terrace.
They also ruled the death of seven-year-old Michael Wisdom a homicide.
Because Carol Wisdom died in the fire, investigators have closed the case.
