All to score the newest iPhone, unveiled today at Apple's media event in California. Upgrades include a 4 inch screen, faster processor and 8 hrs of battery life, packaged in Apple's latest operating system, iOS 6.
At the Apple store in Estero, a steady flow of curious customers like Victoria Romero popped in to find out more. The 13-year-old already has $200 saved.
“I would have to give up getting apps, getting music from iTunes, going out with my friends on Friday nights.” Romero said.
But the iconic smartphone isn't available yet. It hits stores next Friday.
What’s your best chance to score it early? “Wait in line in front of the store until God only knows what time in the morning. Set up a campfire or something.” Ryan said.
If you're prepared to wait in line, the big day is next Friday September 21. But if you want it delivered to your doorstep, start preparing early.
