Collier Co. Sheriff Kevin Rambosk moves on to general election

NAPLES- Incumbent Kevin Rambosk is holding strong in the race for Collier County Sheriff.
Sheriff Kevin Rambosk getting 79.12% of the votes while his opponent Victor Ortino received 20.87% of the votes.
Ortino is a veteran of the US air force and a former highway patrol officer.
Sheriff Kevin Rambosk has been Collier's top cop for the last 4 years. He says his top priorities are to stop texting and driving and engage more children and families in crime prevention.
The Sheriff watched the election results from the Hilton Hotel lobby in Naples. He celebrated his victory with supporters.
"We've accomplished more than we set forth in the 1st 4 years. We've got a great, exciting plan for the next 4 years.Technology is changing every single day and we're going to continue to use that and keep Collier as safe as it is or better," said Sheriff Kevin Rambosk.
Rambosk will now move on to the general election in November. Rambosk will face businessman Vinny Angiolillo.
