FORT MYERS, Fla. - It's a sign of the times: cars lining up for blocks just for the shot at free gas.
The scene happened around 4pm on Thursday at the Circle K gas station near Daniels Parkway and I-75 in Fort Myers.
Kia owner Billy Fucillo not only pumped the gas, but paid for it as well.
Fuccillo teamed up with 96 K-Rock. The radio station announced the location of the gas giveaway early this afternoon. 15 minutes later, the cars began lining up. Fucillo showed up at 4, vowing to pump free gas for 96 min to anyone who waited in line.
Fuccillo spent $3,800 and used 60 cars for the giveaway.
