Possible video terror threat for New York
NEW YORK - The NYPD and FBI are trying to figure out whether a new video released by al Queda is a real threat.
The message on a known terror website says "al Qaeda coming soon again in New York".
Police commissioner Ray Kelly says analysts believe it's connected to an Egyptian national.
Some analysts say they are skeptical about the potential threat, but federal authorities and the police department say any threat must be taken seriously.
New York's police commissioner describes the internet as "the new Afghanistan"-- that it's used for training and radicalization.
That's why, he says, these sites are so closely monitored.
