Are You Ready for More Rain?

Low pressure continues to move eastward at this hour over The Northern Plains, and as it does, we will see increased chances for showers and thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday will see predominately rain showers in the morning before tapering off in the afternoon. Look for highs to drop over the next few days from the 70's Wednesday to near 60 on Thursday. This will be due to the fact that we wil return to northwesterly flow, bringing in cooler air to Mid-Michigan. Look for skies to clear over the weekend as a high pressure system rolls into the area. This should last throughout the remainder of the holiday weekend, allowing high temperatures Sunday and Monday to reach into the lower 70's. Look for near 80 degree temperatures by the middle of next week.
