More Showers and Thunderstorms Expected

A low pressure system over the Upper Central Plains continues to pump in warm moist air to our area, firing off showers and thunderstorms. This same system will give us a chance for more thunderstorms, of which some could be severe, tomorrow afternoon. These storms should fire along an outflow boundary left by storms that are expected overnight tonight. Look for temperatures to be back in the 80's Tuesday and 70's Wednesday before this system finally rolls out to the east. Cooler air will return with a dry period into the Memorial Day Weekend. We should eventually see middle 70's with more sun on Memorial Day Monday. If any severe weather does break, make sure you stay tuned to Fox 47 News!
