UPDATE: Law enforcment officials searching for a 6-year-old girl who went missing from a trailer park near Seattle have found a child's body in the vicinity.

The body has not yet been identified and an autopsy will determine the manner and cause of death. The missing girl's parents have been notified.

EARLIER STORY

The search for the little girl in Washington state is expanding.

Jenise Wright has been missing since Saturday and many people are now asking why her parents didn't call 911 right away.

In fact, it was a neighbor who eventually made the call, a full 24 hours after the 6-year-old girl went missing.

The little girl's family says that it was not unusual for Jenise to wander the mobile home neighborhood and be gone for several hours. Her parents reportedly believed the neighborhood to be safe because it is fenced.

Newly-released court documents show that the father, James Wright, was charged with child molestation involving two young female relatives more than 10 years ago. The charge was dropped though after he pleaded guilty to a lesser assault charge.

However, authorities say Wright is not a suspect in his daughter's disappearance, according to ABC News. In addition, Kitsap County Sheriff's Deputy Scott Wilson says that the parents have been very cooperative.

More than 100 law enforcement personnel from 10 different agencies have been searching for the little girl. The FBI has also joined the search.

Child Protective Services has now removed the missing girl's two siblings, an 8-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl, from their home in the Steele Creek Mobile Home Park, which is near Seattle. The children are now staying with their adult sisters.
