Dog the Bounty Hunter has announced that he is on the hunt for the War Machine.
The War Machine, formally known as Jonathan Koppenhaver, is on the run after allegedly beating up his ex porn-star girlfriend Christy Mack in Las Vegas.
Duane "Dog" Chapman is the world's most famous bounty hunter. He rose to fame on A&E's reality television series titled "Dog the Bounty Hunter." He and his wife Beth now star in "Dog and Beth: On The Hunt" on the CMT network.
Chapman issued a warning to Koppenhaver via Twitter on Monday.
@WarMachine170 your now In my World your a FUGITIVE & I Am a BOUNTY HUNTER !! YOU NEED TO FEEL SHAME !! Be a MAN SURRENDER TO AUTHORITIES— Duane Dog Chapman (@DogBountyHunter) August 12, 2014
Chapman told MMA Mania that he was contacted by friends in the mixed martial arts world who wanted him to get involved in the hunt for Koppenhaver, who is a MMA fighter. Chapman also told MMA Mania that he was not doing it for the publicity and he is determined to find Koppenhaver because that is what he does and because of what Koppenhaver allegedly did to a "defenseless girl."
Chapman also said that he actually began the hunt several days ago and the cameras for his television show have been recording the investigation.
TMZ says Chapman told them he has made contact with Koppenhaver and gave him 24 hours to turn himself over to the bounty hunter.
In addition, Corey Harrison from "Pawn Stars" on the History Channel and a Las Vegas resident, announced that he was adding $10,000 to the reward to bring Koppenhaver to justice. A $10,000 reward is already being offered by Mack and her family.
Koppenhaver, who used to fight for Bellator before being released after news of the alleged attack broke, has not responded publicly to the Dog. His last Twitter posts were on Aug. 10, when he insisted that he was not "a bad guy" and that he was actually "fighting for my life" during the incident involving his ex-girlfriend.
Authorities believe that he is in the San Diego area and the U.S. Marshals are currently searching for him.
Mack is still in a Las Vegas hospital recovering from her injuries, which include 18 broken bones in her face and a ruptured liver.
The hashtag #justiceforchristymack is now trending on Twitter.
