Hillary Clinton has been working hard to promote her new book, “Hard Choices,” but there’s one country where you won’t be able to find it. NBC News reports that the book “has been denied translation and English-language distribution in China,” according to her publisher, Simon & Schuster.

“A day after the book hit shelves in the U.S., Shanghai Book Traders, which supplies foreign books to Amazon China, told executives at Simon & Schuster that the title would not be approved for sale in the country,” NBC reports.

The book is about Clinton’s four years serving as U.S. secretary of state and, according to NBC News, “is critical of China's policies and leaders at points. She recalls a less-than-cordial conversation with China's state councilor, Dai Bingguo, and sheds light on the country's censorship policies.”

Here in the U.S., “the book has topped the New York Times bestseller list for two weeks, and 16 other countries have purchased foreign rights to the title, according to Simon & Schuster.”
