Video: More People Charged in Post-Game Disturbance

Seven more people have been charged in connection with the fires that were set after MSU beat Ohio State in the Big Ten title game.
19-year-old Ryan Michael Bailey of Macomb - charged with disorderly conduct for kindling a fire, as well as Minor in Possession. Kindling a fire is a misdemeanor charge punishable by up to 90 days in jail and up to a $500 fine.
Six others were charged with remaining within 300 feet of a fire, a misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days in jail and up to a $500 fine. They include:
- 20-year-old Justyn David Doucette of Kalamazoo; Doucette also faces a Minor in Possession charge
- 23-year-old Jared Scott Dubay of Belmont
- 19-year-old Joshua Daniel Istratescu of Birch Run
- 22-year-old Martin William Miller of Lansing
- 21-year-old David Tyler Shineldecker of East Lansing
- 22-year-old Samantha Frances Kruse of East Lansing
There have now been a total of 17 arraignments related to the disturbance, with more expected in the coming weeks. Facial recognition technology is being used as an investigative tool and has already produced results. The East Lansing Police Department is sharing pictures and videos from the incident on its Facebook page in hopes of identifying more people.

Tips can remain anonymous. Due to the value of the tips received thus far, ELPD will begin issuing reward money to informants this week. Reward money will range from $100 to $500 depending on the information that was received. Money will continue to be rewarded for new tips in the coming weeks.
