What does it take to be a top athlete?
A November 10 symposium at Michigan State University will attempt to answer that question.
The symposium is part of the Spartan Nutrition and Performance Program, also known as SNAPP, and features the Spartan Dawgs, former MSU athletes who share their knowledge and expertise with the young athletes taking part in the program.
This symposium will provide young athletes with detailed and impactful insight into how they can improve their performance through training, nutrition and other factors that influence performance.
Taking part in this program are Spartan Dawgs former MSU basketball players Mateen Cleaves, Andre Hutson and Tim Bograkos; former football player T.J. Duckett; and several MSU coaches.
This symposium is open to young athletes, coaches and parents, and is from 9 a.m. to noon on the MSU campus. The cost is $50 per person.
