MSU Professor Receives Cattell Fellow Award

University Distinguished Professor Neal Schmitt was selected to receive a 2014 James Mckeen Cattell Fellow Award from the Association for Psychological Science.

The Cattell award recognizes APS members for psychological research pertaining to a problem in society.

Schmitt’s research focuses on breaking the barriers that hinder women and racial and ethnic minorities from achieving success in the workplace.

Schmitt is frequently asked to implement personnel selection systems for major companies.

Schmitt will be recognized during the 26th annual APS convention in San Francisco in May of 2014.
