Wharton Center to Collect Items for Set of 'Peter and the Starcatcher'

By Stefanie Pohl. CREATED May 30, 2013

During Saturday's 19th annual Be a Tourist in Your Own Town event around Lansing, the Wharton Center will be holding backstage tours and participating in a 'green' project on behalf of the National Tour of 'Peter and the Starcatcher,' coming to Wharton in January.

Go to the Wharton Center between 10:00AM-1:00PM to have your passport stamped as part of the Be a Tourist event, and while you're there you can drop off items that are being collected by the production company for 'Peter and the Starcatcher.'

According to a photo shared on the Wharton Center Facebook page: "At 'Peter and the Starcatcher,' we love to go GREEN. Many of the items we use to build the proscenium on our stage are ordinary items that are recycled and repurposed for use on our set."

See a list of items below and be a part of the fun this Saturday, June 1st!
