Adreian Payne and Branden Dawson have been identified as the two MSU players involved in an altercation in State College, Pennsylvania.

Coach Tom Izzo says the two will not play tonight.


More Details: Penn State Police Chief Tyrone Parham says that police responded to a call made around 11:00 a.m. and arrived ten minutes later, though the team had already left on the bus to the basketball arena.

The two MSU players involved had minor cuts on their faces, and damage was made to the wall when one of the players shoved the other.

The local police know the identities of the two players involved, but won't release the information unless charges are filed.



Update via The State News: Penn State's police chief says that police responded to what began as a verbal altercation between two MSU players. Punches were also thrown, with one player shoved into the wall.

The team was heading to the arena by the time police arrived, 10 minutes following the initial call.



Reports from Penn State say that police responded to an altercation between two Michigan State basketball players.

The team is in State College, Penn. for tonight's basketball game.
