The Penn State sanctions will be felt throughout the Big Ten, including at Michigan State University.
MSU has ordered all of its personnel to not comment publicly on the Penn State case -- that includes coaches, athletes, or anyone else working at the school.
The school did however issue a statement from its University Relations spokesman.
"MSU clearly supports the actions of the NCAA and they clearly have the authority to do so and the responsibility to take those actions. This is a tragic and difficult and unprecedented case. We think that the actions that the NCAA announced [Monday] morning speak for themselves," said Kent Cassella, V.P. of Media Communications.
