Golden State snags Draymond Green in second-round
The Golden State Warriors drafted former Michigan State senior Draymond Green with the 35th pick of the NBA Draft last night.
Green, who was projected to go in the late first-round, slipped to the Warriors. Green, one of the best Michigan State basketball players of all time should fit in nicely with the pieces Golden State already has.
Green is one of the best passing big men in the draft, and an excellent rebounder. Warriors guard Stephen Curry is going to love what Green can do for him.
The 6-8, 236 lbs. power forward will most likely come off the bench behind David Lee.
Green is an excellent shooter and a natural leader, so getting a guy like this in the second round, is great value.
Draymond Green, who should very well find his jersey in the rafters at the Breslin Center soon, averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds as a senior and was the reason MSU won a Big Ten Championship this past season.\
Golden State plans to move the franchise's home from Oakland to San Francisco in the future.
