UPDATE:  EAST LANSING - Police say they have identified four East Lansing High School seniors accused of defacing the high school building overnight.

The identities of the students haven't been released and more students may be involved.

East Lansing police reviewed video recorded by school surveillance cameras.

The students could face destruction of property charges, which are considered criminal charges.

Repair costs are still being tallied.

On the final day of school students and faculty arrived to see spray painted graffiti above the entrance to the school, and along the upper portions of the outside walls.

Much of the graffiti said "Seniors 2014." It's unknown how the vandals were able to spray the paint in such high areas of the walls.

The school district's administration and police are investigating.
