By FOX 47 News. CREATED Jun 26, 2014 - UPDATED: Aug 4, 2014

Police have confirmed that the body of Mark Luplow was found on Friday.

Luplow had been missing since late June. The body was found in a wooded area near the US-127 and Dunckell Road interchange. The cause of death has not been determined, but police do not believe there was foul play.

A letter from the Luplow family:

"Unfortunately our search for Mark Luplow has ended very tragically. We received the news on the afternoon of Aug. 1st that his remains had been found. This is obviously not the ending we had anticipated, we had all the hope in the world he would be found safe and alive. Mark was an amazing man and everything about him will be missed dearly.

I want to thank everyone for taking the time to share Mark's flyers, for all the thoughts, prayers and support by all. The family will forever be thankful for all the help and support that has been given to us.

I know there are a lot of you out there wanting to help in many different ways or wanting to send flowers to show your support. Here is a link to the gofundme account set up by Mark's Family.

Thank you in advance.

For anyone who wants to pay their respects for Mark Luplow there will be a memorial Wednesday Aug. 6th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N River Rd. Saginaw MI, 48609. Please feel free to join the family from 9-11 a.m., service will begin at 11 a.m.
