Free Rides with CATA on Election Day
The Capital Area Transportation Authority will offer free rides Tuesday, August 5, 2014, during the primary election, to ensure that those who want to vote have transportation to the polls. Customers must present a valid voter registration card upon boarding the bus.
All CATA services will provide free transportation during regular hours of operation to passengers who present the appropriate card. Rides provided on Spec-Tran, Redi-Ride and Rural Service must be scheduled at least one day in advance of Election Day. Same-day rides will not be available.
