East Lansing Police Release Surveillance Video of Suspect in Fatal Shooting

The East Lansing Police Department is asking for the public’s continued help in locating the man suspected of fatally shooting one MSU student and injuring another on Friday, Jan. 31 at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Cedar Street.

East Lansing has released video of the suspect in the fatal shooting of MSU student Dominique Nolff.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20-25 years of age, approximately 6’1”-6’3” tall and approximately 170 lbs. with a slim build. It’s believed he received significant facial injuries during the struggle with the victims. At the time of the shooting, he was wearing a black hooded North Face winter jacket, tan pants and black shoes. Anyone with information is urged to contact ELPD Det. Dan Brown at (517) 319-6811.
