UPDATE: Police Looking for Armed Robber

CREATED Jun. 21, 2013

Lansing police slap the handcuffs on the man who they say robbed a Subway restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police tell us the suspect indicated he had a gun, but, it was really his hand in a paper bag.

He got some cash and ran away but officers saw him running with the money in his hand and chased him down.

It didn't take police long to catch the suspect and haul him off to jail.

Subway is known for its five-dollar foot-longs, but the man who robbed this one in Lansing was more interested in six inches--6.14 to be exact.

That's the length of the bills he stole from the cash register. He claimed he had a weapon but never showed it. Police tell us there wasn't much cash in the drawer, but are still looking for the suspect.
