MEAP Error Means New Math Scores
FOX 47 News
A mistake by the State Department of Education means students across Michigan will be getting new MEAP math scores.
As it turns out, state officials included questions on the test, taken by students last Fall, that they had promised schools they wouldn't include.
Because of the mistake, the state has to re-score all the MEAP math exams for students in grades 4, 7, and 8, and for special education students in grades 3 through 8.
The new scores will be sent to schools by the end of June.
