2014 Corvette to be Raffled to Benefit Make-A-Wish Michigan
One hundred percent of proceeds from a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette raffle will benefit Make-A-Wish Michigan to help grant the wishes of Michigan kids with life-threatening medical conditions.
The drawing will be Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 3:30PM at Memorial Park in Royal Oak, Michigan during the Woodward Dream Cruise.
Don and Lee Hamilton, of Hamilton Chevrolet in Warren, Michigan, are donating a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe to be raffled to help raise funds for Make-A-Wish Michigan, a non-profit that grants wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
More than 20 years ago, the Hamilton's son, Christopher, then 6, was granted his wish by the organization. Although Christopher lost his battle with leukemia, his parents have remained committed to the organization that brought hope, strength and joy to their family.
"The Hamiltons are longtime, extraordinary friends of Make-A-Wish Michigan and represent the strength and joy that support this organization," said Karen Davis, Make-A-Wish Michigan president and CEO. "We are truly thankful and honored for their continued support."
The specifications are a Crystal Red Tintcoat, black leather interior, sex-speed automatic transmission and more.
Tickets are $50 each or $100 for three and can be purchased by calling Make-A-Wish Michigan at 800.622.9474 or visiting Hamilton Chevrolet at 5800 Fourteen Mile Rd., Warren, Michigan 566.264.1400.
The winner is allowed to choose the prize car or $50,000 cash. For more information, visit www.michigan.wish.org/corvette
