A young Lansing boy in need of a service dog to keep him safe may be one step closer to that goal. Four-year-old Kender Hunt is blind and autistic and getting a service dog is going to cost his family about 13-thousand dollars.
A fundraiser was held at the A&W in Mason, raising money for the dog, which will be specially trained to track Kender when he runs off. It will also help keep an eye on him in public.
