Long Labor Contracts Draw Ire From Michigan Republicans

Some labor unions are apparently trying to circumvent the state's new right-to-work law by negotiating unusually long contracts.
They are looking at signing contracts that last close to ten years, before the March 28th deadline when the new law takes affect.
Republican lawmakers who control the state's budget are threatening to limit state aid and call unions with unusually long contract extensions into the capitol for explanation.
