Update: Home All But Destroyed

LEROY TOWNSHIP, INGHAM CO. - A morning fire has nearly destroyed a home on the 900 block of Deitz Road, near Dennis Road.

It started around 8:30 a.m.

The house was fully engulfed when the firefighters arrived.

No one was home when the fire started, and no one was injured while fighting the blaze.

The cause is not yet known, but Leroy Township Fire Chief Mike Flynn says the fire does not look suspicious.

A full investigation will begin on Tuesday.


 

LEROY TOWNSHIP, INGHAM CO. - Several fire departments are containing a blaze at a home in Leroy Township Friday morning.

The fire was called in at about 8:30AM at a two-story home in the 900 block of Dietz Road, near Dennis Road, southwest of Webberville.

The house was fully engulfed when the firefighters arrived. There is no indication that any one is hurt at this time.
