Top honors for a vehicle made in mid-Michigan: the Buick Enclave took first place in a survey by J.D. Power and Associates.
It's made by workers at GM's Delta Township plant, and sits at the top of its class when it comes to luxury crossovers. Surveyed drivers said it ranked the best over 20 other vehicles.
The plant manager is thrilled with the news.
"That's a real tremendous achievement for the plant. And a tremendous achievement for the whole assembly team here. I'm really proud of the team. It puts us in the forefront. We're the fastest-selling luxury crossover in America," said plant manager Tony Francavilla.
The Enclave was named a top safety pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety last year.
