Woman Robs Three Quality Dairy Stores

CREATED Aug. 29, 2012

Police are describing the suspect as a white female, with a medium build, with light brown hair. She's in her mid-20s to early 30s.

Just after 4:00 a.m. on Monday morning, a woman robbed the Quality Dairy on East Saginaw. An hour and a half later, she was at it again not far down the road at the one on South Pennsylvania.

Later that night around 10:30 p.m. she struck the North Pine Street location. The only difference this time, was she got away in a white van instead of the dark-colored sedan she was using earlier.

"Driven by a male on all three occasions," said Captain Daryl Green of the Lansing Police Department. "We have some really strong leads."

Each of the three times, the woman told the clerks she had a gun, but never showed one.

"Quality Dairy has been great in providing us with all the evidence they've had to offer. The cashiers have done a great job, and again, no one was injured," continued Green. He says it doesn't appear she had a reason to target Quality Dairy, but they're prepared if she tries again.

"We've upped patrols in the areas around those stores, and hopefully we'll have this young lady caught soon."

Now she could be facing years in prison on breaking and entering charges, all for only around $100 she was able to take away from each store.
