MARVIN Services Unavailable This Weekend

In an effort to increase the level of online service it provides to its customers, Michigan's Unemployment Insurance Agency will undergo a system-wide computer upgrade from 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, through 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13.
As a result, MARVIN by phone and MARVIN Online as well as the Claim Web Account Portals will be inaccessible to users during this time.
Additionally, staff will be unable to assist customers on Friday, August 10, as all of the Agency's customer service lines including MARVIN will be unavailable. Also, the UIA's 14 Problem Resolution Offices will be closed to the public as staff will be unable to access customer information during the upgrade.
The Agency recommends those whose bi-weekly certification time is scheduled for the week ending Saturday, August 11, should make every possible effort to certify at their regularly scheduled time. As a result of the system upgrade, the only make-up day available during the week ending Saturday, August 11, will be Thursday, August 9.
The Agency will resume its normal hours of operation on Monday, August 13.

Visit the UIA website at www.michigan.gov/uia to establish or review claim web accounts as well as to submit an inquiry to the Agency's Virtual Problem Resolution (ViPR) agents. ViPR agents are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., ET.
Visit a local UIA Problem Resolution Office (PRO) to speak with an agent in person. PRO offices are located in Alpena, Benton Harbor, Detroit, Gaylord, Grand Rapids, Houghton, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Marquette, Mt. Clemens, Muskegon, Saginaw, Sault Ste. Marie and Traverse City.
