  • Hello, My Name is Faith Hurst, I live in coin iowa currently and I want to share a story that I hope makes it's all over the news and for everyone to see. I am begging for this story to be shared because as I am writing you this message I am crying.... Okay well, My name is Faith Hurst and I am a mother of soon to be 3 children. I have been having a hard time dealing with all this pain and feeling like it's all my fault and I realize that as a child and young adult I have made some bad choices. When I was younger I thought I had it so bad so I started acting badly at home and in school. I was then taken from my mother (Virginia hurst) I went from placement to placement , foster home to foster home and I went back home quite a few times but I didn't make it work , maybe I just wasn't ready. Well when I got out of placement at 18 years of age I went back to my moms and it only lasted a week, I was still a very angry person never did figure out why. Well I ended up getting my own place in red oak iowa, I got into drugs really bad hoping that something bad would happen to me but instead the best thing happened to me. I got pregnant with my oldest daughter Payton Nicole Hurst she became the love of my life within an hour of finding out I was pregnant I stopped using drugs within the 1st hour of finding out. I had just turned 19 twelve days before my daughter was born on November 30th 2011. When Payton was born I wasn't using or hanging around people who used but I will admit I put myself in some bad sitituations I feel the guilt to this day still. I then began to try and find ways to better myself but everything I did seemed to be wrong. I ended up getting involved with the Iowa Department of Human services when my daughter was maybe 2 or 3 months old I was really trying to do my best to get her from going into foster care. I was very protective over Payton she was my life. In the winter of 2012 it was the beginning of a new year and Payton had some health problems suc
